| Great looking scooter. I hope all that snow in the background melts soon so you can go for a ride.
Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. |

The SaddleBags are Nelsen-Rigg Silver Streak Deluxe Saddlebags (SSC-150). They velcro strapped together under the seat and clipped together around Silver Wing Body. So VERY EASY removal and installation. Check out the third picture. The clearance is about 2 inches when I have the bags fully strapped on and pulled tight. I just threw the bags on for the pictures. I would really appreciate a more complete explanation of how the bags are strapped on. I have Givi side bags, and need to modify them to stay on better, and come off more easily. One of the original hooks melted from engine heat, so I definitely need a better solution. Thanks, and Happy New Year, M-

I dont even use the strap across the seat unless it is loaded 50 pounds plus. I shortened the velcro straps and hook them around the hand rail front and back. The bags are positioned perfectly and they dont flap around at all even when empty. If I dont want anyone to steal them I buckle the cross strap and close the seat on it. |

| Emeskay & Chief Rider.. sorry for the delay... I will post a picture soon.
The saddlebags each have 2 large velcro strap that connect with others. I lift up the sit, then un-velcro the rear-most strap, feed them under the "wing" over the internal compartment and then re-velcro them together. The forward-most velcro strap (pair) rests across the internal compartment in-front of the last "wing" mount-point. Then I shut the Silver Wing's seat hard to make sure it latches fully.
These saddle bags have a set of forward and rear clips that are used to with the cinch-strap. A cinch-strap goes from the front of one saddle bag to the other front, around the front of the seat (just under it on the outside). Then a second cinch-strap goes around the rear of the scooter under the tail (on the outside). I do not have the cinch-straps on in the pictures above.
Since the pictures were taken I have purchased a Nelsen-Rigg Tail pack (SSC-165) that attaches to clips on the top of each saddle bag. So when I solo Scamp this summer, I am quite confident that they will stay on properly. |
