The dread red X...

Hey JeffR, I am getting the dread red 'X' for avatars and other pics.
Only happened today, not before. Is there a problem?

Still working from the same PC and Network? The network admins here at my workplace do not permit images or video so they always show up as red x's, but at home I'm the network admin and I permit the images. Filtering software will also cut the images.

I had an instance today where it went to the foumotion.com page and did not bring up the forum home page. I am in and out several times during the day. Right now everthing seems ok. (Maxi-Scooter site has been plagued for close to two weeks with the dreaded red x

I haven't seen the red x or had any problems yet. I will go behind the scenes to see if the administrators that run this system know of anything. Keep me informed if it happens again. Thanks.

Update for the Forum !!!

The reason that the "Red X" is showing up is due to the site administers are Updating the system. These are the people that run this format that our site uses. They are working on the fix due to the update and should be repaired soon. One problem is that the tech's don't work weekends so it may be Monday or Tuesday.

The site is fully functionable except for the Album and some avatars. Please be patient and I will keep up on it. I didn't notice it at all until I went to the Album and found the "Red X" instead of pictures.

I would like to thank Wes for bringing this to our attention.

Hi,

I have an update to the forum problem:

The owners of the forumotion changed servers and after doing that found out that the new server owners couldn't deliver what they promised. So they are going back to the original server and the problems should soon disappear in a day or so. I want to apologize for this but it was totally beyond my control.

Please keep posting away because it is fine but the gallery and some avatars aren't working yet. But please be patient as the problem will be corrected very soon.
