Will a newer model dash fit a 2006 Swing?

I'm wanting to replace the dash on my 2006 Swing with one of the newer model dashes that have the raised compartment covers - only if it will work. I think otherwise, the screw hole placements, etc are all the same?

Thoughts? Anyone done this?

If your model is an A7 I think it will fit Gustafa.

Unless you've got a line on purchasing an entire new style dash you can buy the individual pieces to upgrade just the cubbys & covers. Yes, that'd still leave you with your yellow color tupperware but you'll have the latching right side cubby and matching left side. Check eBay and/or Partzilla.

I do have a complete right side cubby from a 2010 (the new style) available if anyone is interested.

PS: But if you changed your dash to black shouldn't you also change your floor skirts to black as well. Then a couple of black bands around the tail end would have it looking like a bumblebee

I believe that DennisB did a write up on how to change the covers to the raised ones. His write up included all the parts you would need.
