| I recently purchased a 2004 Silver Wing. The ignition switch on my 2007 Suzuki Burgman 400 (75,000 plus miles) is vertical and does not allow water ingress. The ignition switch on the Silver Wing is horizontal and I would like to know if any owner has water enter it. |

| Welcome! Water ingress to the switch was never an issue with my three Silverwings. |

| I have never had a water problem with my ignition switch in 12 years. It has been ridden in rain, sleet etc. BUT it is garaged the majority of the time. |

| No problems here with my 2001 SW. Just a tad of lubrication from time-to-time, to stop any corrosion building up seems to keep it in good order.
Taking the pressure off the lock by gently using the handlebars also prevents wear. |

| Thank you all for the replies. As Mark Twain said worrying is like paying a debt you don't owe. |
