Looking forward to learning a lot of new things about the new scoot.  I'd like to improve it's comfort, so I put on a driver's backrest and ordered a Givi tall windshield, I'd also like to find the Genuine Honda leg deflectors, but I am NOT holding my breath! No
Possibly at some point maybe the Corbin seat and Kuryakyn grips.

welcome Sidewinder Pilot welcome to the best Silverwing forum on the web. How do you like the Givi tall windshield? Most of us seem to go for the Givi Airflow. Did you do a buttstop conversation or buy a separate backrest? The Honda leg deflectors are not hard to get you just need to get them from over the pond.

If you are looking forward to learning and plan on doing your own maintenance you'll find you can do anything you need or want with the service manual and help from this forum.
I add the paragraph below for most new members because there's a lot of information in the links and may save you some work. I sure would like to get a Corbin seat too.
Here are some links(3 below in blue)that will help you learn a lot about your Silverwing. If you can't find what you need in the links below the search on this forum works good, and if you still need help just ask and someone will do what they can to answer your questions.

Thanks, I haven't received the windshield yet, sometime after Monday though... I went with the regular tall one for simplicity, hope it's the right decision. I got a buttbumper bracket and it works good enough, and the deflectors have been eluding me so far, but I will keep searching... (If someone has a link that would be great!)
Again, thanks for the welcome!!!

Welcome Sidewinder Pilot to the best SWing site on the Net. Lots of information here with lots of people ready and willing to help. I have an 08 SWing that I picked up March, 2014 and love it.
