| My 2007 centerstand is pretty scraped up. Want to touch up and cover the metal bare spots. Its black in color. (Not sure if that is true of all S/Ws.)
Anyone repainted their centerstand ? and what paint did you use to match the color?
TIA, Slickie |

| First clean all oil and grease off it then Hand sand it or sand blast it so the paint will stick good then use Black restoleum or black XOrust spray paint from the hardware store. I use the brown primer and then the black paint that is better then just using the black paint only . Let it dry 48 hours before putting your foot on it to use it . |

| Appreciate the info. Seems like a good approach... I shall endeavor to avoid fumigating the entire garage.

| If I were going to repaint my center stand I think that I'd use expoy paint, given the amount of road debris thrown that way

| Of course large front mudflap keeps some junk from being thrown at stand in the 1st place. |
