Long Time Viewer now a New Member

Greetings from sunny Ashland, Oregon! I've been watching this site for some time now and decided to join the family, as it were. I'm on an '05 Wing these days. Years ago I rode an older Yamaha Seca 750. Then one day I took an 11 hour road trip on a Gold Wing from Colorado Springs to Oklahoma City. I scheduled three days to make the trip and ended up driving straight through. Things were never the same after that journey!

I sold the classic iron and vowed to wait until I could afford something with a substantial fairing up front. Enter the Roketa Bali 150 'Touring Scooter' three years ago. It was great fun around town and before I knew it (after making every performance mod available, nevermind the economics of it) I was chasing my friends on their sport bikes through the mountains of southern Oregon and northern California.

The next step was a Yamaha Majesty that served me well for the past few years. I've had my eye on the Wing all along and when one popped up locally on Craigslist with only 2700 miles, I grabbed it. Until Honda lets loose with the E4-01, this is where I'll be!

I love the excitement and passion we all share about our scoots. Its always a bit entertaining that on almost every topic, the number of responses equals the number of different opinions about said topic. Here, as in all of life, after listening to the gallery weigh in, we all ultimately get to make our own choices.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for joining. You will probably find you will want to add mods to the SWing too. Just ask around because there are many of us that have added different things to the SWing. Welcome.

Welcome to the forum. I'm in agreement with you about riding the SilverWing until the E4-01 is available. I doubt Honda will do it, but it is my dream.
