| Bought a 2005 SW and was doing an oil change today. The oil plug was so tight that when I removed it the threaded part sheared off. The threads are still inside the housing. Any ideas on how to get it out would be helpful. Thanks, Chris |

| Yes, just the thread is still inside. Not much of it, but it needs to come out. The thread that is still inside is about an 1/8 of an inch |

| Try putting on a heavy leather work glove and use your gloved finger to unscrew the broken piece of thread. There is nothing holding it in. |

| Try taking a sharp chisel and LIGHTLY tapping it counterclockwise against the threads with a nylon hammer or rubber mallet. It should loosen easily. Then do the Dennis thing with the gloves. |

| Honda in Glendale,CA stocks both parts, i got them today $21 and I'm back on 2 wheels. |
