Bob and I have the Scala G4 wireless com unit.

We have had some problems with Bob's unit. First the volume button froze, we sent it back and they sent us a refurbished unit.

Then when we were on our way to the STO Rally his left speaker went out. Made it very difficult to hear me if at all when we were moving. We are sending it back for repair or replacement. It has a 2 year warranty.

Has anyone else who has these units experienced any problems with theirs?

I have a set, a they have worked fine. I did update the software. Sometimes a little slow to make initial connection, but fine after that.

I haven't had any problems with mine, but I've only had them for a couple of months.

When they work they work great. It was just very frustrating when Bob's went out on the 2nd day of 2 week long trips.

1st the volume control was frozen in the low position so he couldn't here me. I could here him though. The turn around time once we got home was very quick. They offered to send it to us on our trip but we weren't in one place for more then a night or two.

The 2nd time on our way to the STO Rally. The one speaker went out. Bob and I wear earplugs so when you are moving it's hard to here with just one speaker. He sent the speakers in today. We should get them in a couple of days.

Wayne we will have to try updating the softwear. We have experienced a wait time while trying to connect.

Thanks, for your input.
