PostSubject: Rider down   Fri May 13, 2011 8:09 am

Driving back from Portland Bill with the dogs after a very pleasant walk.

Driving out of a small village, (Southwell), into Police Accident signs.

Rider on spinal board with ambulance and police vehicles surrounding him to protect him from the traffic and rubber neckers. White BMW car parked up, front end smashed in. In the hedgerow a blue and white m/cycle, possibly a Suzuki, very badly smashed up.

Hope the rider isn't too badly injured.

Sunny day, twisty road, scenic too. Speed restrictions were imposed on the road a few years back but seldom is it adhered to.

Mm. Not good.
Unfortunately, a member of Max-Muppets was killed in a m/c accident yesterday.
He was an IAM advanced observer and, according to those who knew him, a careful, considerate rider and thoroughly nice chap.

Hope it doesn't mark the start of the silly season. Been a few deaths in Dorset the past few weeks. Coincidence the weather has been dry and sunny! More early 'summer' riders out perhaps.

Do we know which 'Muppet' Mike. I no longer go there these days.

Edited bit.

Thanks for the link, but still no clue as to the 'Muppet's ID.

Doug, his name on Muppets was Trauts.

OMG, one of the better contributors to the site.

What can you say, thoughts with his family and friends. Muppets have lost a fine member.
