2016 Maxi-Scooter Meet - Sept. 14-18 Marion VA

Two years ago, my sweetie and I were lucky enough to attend the STO Rally where we met Tess, Lance and the many other fine folks in Eureka Springs.  That Razorback road was awesome to carve up.

We then kept going and attended the 2014 Maxi-Scoot Rally in Huzzah Valley near Steeleville MO the following week. Again, some awesome riding.

Unfortunately for us, this year we have a scheduling conflict (and limited vacation time) and we can not attend both rallies.  Regardless, both get togethers feature amazing roads to ride with some of the nicest people you'd want to meet.

I'll be there too. I'm a paper map kind of guy and too old skool (and/or technology challenged) to have a smart phone or GPS so I'll just follow along behind someone who looks like they know.

Somewhat like MadDog, my location and the distance (2800km from NS to Marion, VA) become blocking factors.  But if a lottery win happens ... I'll be getting a truck and bring the Silverwing for what will be a really great time. Looks like quite a crowd planning to attend this year Maggie!

Bob and I were down there last year.  Great place to ride.  Looking forward to going this year in the fall with the Maxi-Scooter group.  Meeting new friends.

Conquered the 'Back of the Dragon' Saturday.


We saw only one scoot yesterday on the 421 snake.
They said there was a big gathering in Marion. I didn't see
anyone when I rolled through around 4:30 or so before heading to Bristol.



Then bunked up in Norton last night before heading home this morning.
We looked at the map and decided to go off the beaten path and picked this awesome 620
route over to 119 that took us to Cumberland and US 75 north.
