PGM-FI code Empty
PostSubject: PGM-FI code   PGM-FI code I_icon_minitimeMon Sep 07, 2015 1:30 am

Hi All,

Last Friday,somehow the wire harness on the variator got loose and touched the rear wheel (Guess it's my fault)while i was driving.
Suddenly the odometer stopped working (I saw one disconnected wire in the harness) and the PGM-FI light came on blinking in a sequence of one long blink and a short one.

I have two questions:
1. Does anyone know what this sequence mean?
2. Are these two issues related?

Thanks,
Ofer

Yes they are related bud, the long blink = 10 the short is obviously 1 so looking at section 5-11 in the WSM gives us, 11 blinks is ;

Loose or poor contact on vehicle speed sensor connector

Or

Open or short circuit in vehicle speed sensor connector

Or

Faulty vehicle speed sensor ............

So repairing your broken wire should put things back to normal Smile
