![Battery date code… Empty](https://2img.net/i/empty.gif) | Subject: Battery date code… Fri Oct 04, 2013 7:37 am | |
| Hi all, Does anyone know how the battery date codes are read? I have recently purchased a 2005 Swing for my wife. Runs great but can’t wait to tear into it over the winter. Last night I was installing a charging port for the battery and removed the battery for inspection. It was a Honda OEM battery. The bike only has 11k km on it. Surely this can’t be the original battery. The bike starts fine and runs well. I was just curious. If this is the original battery then I will replace it over the winter for her. There are two codes on the battery… In white paint on the top : 1Q2448 (last digit could be a zero though). Hot stamped into the plastic case : 04110446 Anyone got any insight? Thanks, Tim. - Attachments
