Gas leak - Tipped on right side Empty
PostSubject: Gas leak - Tipped on right side   Gas leak - Tipped on right side I_icon_minitimeWed May 15, 2013 7:28 pm

Gas leak:

My wife tipped (not dropped) the scooter on its right side to the floor...may be because she couldn't hold the weight. Soon we started to see gas leak on the floor. Is it something Normal? or Should I be fixing something?

Appreciate your help!

Thanks, Ari

Hi Ari,

Sounds like you need a new gas filler cap gasket... Or, maybe your gas filler cap is not installed correctly.

I did the same to mine....and it never leaked...so...something must be wrong...I`d keep an eye on it....as DennisB suggested, the gas cap is a good place to start.

There is a over flow tub At the very top of the gas tank above the the filler cap. to be sure lay your swing flat with a full tank there is 2 small tub at the bottom front that stick's out 1/2". one might be the overflow. The other , might be coolant over flow .The fuel tank shows a tub but does not identify it.
