Drive belt

I plan to buy a drive belt to keep it as spare for when the time comes for replacement. Does one belt fit all the models from different years? Would I need to buy anything else that are not easily found, such as the variator pins? What milage can one expect before replacing the pins. My SWing has 12000 miles on the clock. Can anyone also give me a link of the best Swing shops online? Thanks for any info.

I don't know of any in Malta but in UK I use Lings, David Silver and I have just bought a belt made by Gates from Wemoto for £74 which is not much over half the price from a Honda ddealer. I can't help you as to whether any of them will post to your domicile.

With 12000 miles on it, you might consider installing the new belt and keeping the old one as the spare.
