Drive Belt

I just recently purchaseda 2005 Silverwing with 15,000 miles. When should the main drive belt be replaced?

Replacing your belt on your 2005 should happen around 16,000 according to the owners manual. Did your scooter come with one? If not you can down load a copy on line.

It would not hurt to do a few other maintence things on the scooter to be sure they are done, new spark plugs, new air filter, and new oil and filter. These things are all mentioned in the owners manual and most are in our "PICTORIAL" section if you would like to see some great How To's by our fearless leader, JeffR.
