Sounds like lack of fuel or electrical problem. Does the scooter motor turn over or start at all?

If it is truly 'brand new' - you may also wish to check with your dealer? Best Wishes!

Check the charging system - sounds as if the scooter was having to run on battery power alone. It may have been putting enough power out to extinguish the warning light.
Charge the battery and see if it starts.

If the electrics are on check your fuel gauge. (Silverwings made for the American market aren't designed to run on 'fresh air', although some owners have tried. Laughing )

Hope you get it fixed.

Cheers,
