Took the Swing on the ride I like to call my personal Isle of Mann roadracing circuit. 80 Km of twists around a lake Have ridden many fine sportbikes on this ride and wanted to see how the swing would like it. I found that I had a challenge making the bike ride smoothly in a sweeping constant radius manner. The swing is very easy to start turning, so much so that I found that I had to concentrate to be smooth. I think it's because the weight is so low that it turns in so quickly. Now the challenge is to become more subtle. The front gets upset easy when the road is bumpy. Great fun anyway!

SCTLVR, are you using the stock springs. Some people who are wanting more performance have gone to Hyperpros. There have been several threads on springs. You, or anyone else, who like to ride the twisties might want to check it out.

Bob and I headed out west on the Lincoln Highway IL 38 didn't know how far we would go but ended up at The Mississippi River in NW IL. Headed up to Galena, IL on some new roads. Was a great day to ride the temp was a comfortable 81 degrees low humidity. Something we haven't had in awhile. We ended up riding just under 400 miles.

Thank you for the suggestion Hi Yo. You're talking about the fork springs, right? I wonder if there are valved and rear dampers available as well?

SCTLVR, The forks are what there was quite a bit of discussion about in the past. I have no personal experience. I'm sure if you search under forks, you'll see what they have reported. I don't remember anything about valved shocks, but some days I can't remember what I had for breakfast.
