Years of riding, 0 on scooters

Just purchased a 2005 Silverwing. I live in SE Alabama right at the Florida line and beaches. Have had many bikes but this is my first scoot. As I've gotten older this seems like a good way to still ride and have fun. So far it's great. I'm sure I will have a lot of goofy questions so thanks in advance. Cheers!

Hello Holden. Welcome to the forum. Thank you for your introduction.

You can always try the Search tab on the blue tool bar to find answers to your questions. There's a lot of good information stashed on this forum. There are also a lot of knowledgeable active members too. So feel free to ask.

Hello Holden, welcome to the site from Arizona. I love my Scooter after many cycles. No learning curve, just twist and go. Whats not to like?

Welcome Holden! I too rode motorcycles for years but this is the first scooter I have owned and I love it! You will too, I am sure.

A lot of us got here the same way, wanting to have some fun without too much complication on a solid machine.

Thanks all. Greysilver I moved here from Phoenix. Grew up in Tucson and will be going back eventually. GHM-PM I already do love it. No doubt joebillybob, i still have a 14' CB500F for now, but i will be selling her shortly. Only problem I have is these constant storms in the area. Not a dry day in August. I'm ready to ride! Thanks again folks.
