Removing plastic trim around front storage/dash??

Hi there, I need to remove the plastic trim piece that surrounds the two front storage compartments. I have a brand new replacement panel but I can't figure out what I have to remove first to get it out. It looks like there are a ton of screws in the back holding it in place.

It is the plastic panel with the white sticker and key lock cylinder in this pic, to clarify. Thanks for your assistance!

A big job, but do able. Do you have a shop manual?

You can start by removing the right glove box...Then remove the windshield garnish and shield and front fairing.

Remove both floor matts.

Remove the seat and both passenger foot pegs.

Remove the cover under the seat.

Then remove the big center cover, the one that has the gas filler door in it.

Remove the covers from the handelbars.

Then remove the cover assembly you want to replace and do your replacement.

That was easy.

I do not have a factory service manual. Does the service manual illustrate the process for removing panels like this by chance?

It sure does. If your planning on doing any work on the scooter...Please get a shop manual for it. They are worth their weight in gold...That's just a figure of speech. Let's try...Worth their weight in corn dogs...Yeah, that sounds better.
