Hi all from Australia
I am a 60year old rider and just love cruising on the Silverwing
Just purchased a used 2006 Silverwing 600 (4699k) that had a low speed fall by the previous owner.
Was reading the forum on vibrations from the fairing.
Mine has the same problem seems there's some broken tabs in the right hand side.
After watching the YouTube video on the fairing removal for the silverwing 400 I now have the confidence to have a go at it.

The forum is brilliant, very helpful and intuitive.
Keep up the good work!

Welcome to the forum.

It would take you less time to take the variator off and replace the variator weights with lighter ones (probably Dr. Pulley sliders in 26 or 24 grams). The belt, when under acceleration, slaps on the transmission case and cause other parts to vibrate. It is probably not the fault of the fairing.

Also, check to see if you have loose items rattling around in the front pockets.

Hope this works.
