Question about FSA - FSC A/D

I am new to this forum and have had my '03 Swing for just a couple of months. I was wondering what the letters FSA stands for in front of the "600" and the A/D after. Or, I saw one that was FSC 600. I know what the 600 stands for but what about those other letters?

FSC - American model
FSJ - European model

Non-ABS model
FSC600D
FSJ600D

ABS model
FSC600A
FSJ600A

Honda_Silver... I think you have it reversed. My US bike is a FSC600A. I also just verified that on the Honda Powersports webpage.
