Have someone soe information about this switch? Have someone a wiring from the japanese modell? Have someone information about the possibility about an upgrade of non japanese modell with this switch?

I can imagine that the non-japanese modells have the same hardware with an unused connector for this switch and i'm very interested in this upgrade Wink

We did some research about this a while back.
The elusive T-mode switch was actually a change in the ECM programming, allowing for better power on the fly.
We on this board had learned about the connector differences and wiring differences from Honda wiring diagrams, and determined that more recent model bikes had completely different connectors and wiring.

Here is the link to the original thread on T-Mode
Please read it in detail before you decide to persue the idea further.

Maybe it exists on the newer bikes, but I haven't seen anything on T-Mode in current models.
You can however get a power commander, which is made for current bikes, and allows you to program the fuel/air ratio, which improves power and/or performance and/or fuel economy, depending on how you program it.
You can also improve your bike with aftermarket variator and exhaust.

If you find out more about a modern T-Mode...maybe a current wiring diagram from a Japanese manual that shows the connections or something like that, please feel free to upload it in pdf format for others
to download and examine and compare to a non japanese model diagram.

Dan

Thanks for the photos. I suppose that device in the final photo is a motor. Did Honda make any accommodations to easily separate that cable stuff from the muffler (so that the muffler can be removed, say to change the rear wheel)?

Or is the gate valve part of the exhaust header?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the new bikes all change the acceleration profile depending on how hard you wring it's neck? No need for any T-mode.
