If I add "burner" 55watt lights to my scoot, can I connect them to the low beam wiring, or do I need to connect them directly to the battery? Thanks for your help.

I think I would go from the battery to a relay than to the lights, control the relay from your light switch.

Hi, There is loads of information here on the forum about installing lights. Just do a search.

This might help: https://www.silverwing600.com/silver-wing-accessories-modifications-f5/use-of-relays-on-aftermarket-driving-fog-spot-lights-intallation-t959.htm

Good price on the relay and socket: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/12V-12-VOLT-30-40A-SPDT-RELAY-w-SOCKET-WIRE-HARNESS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem334fcc5001QQitemZ220382121985QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
