What's this or What are these? New Bike Mystery 1

I think they're related, and the thing in the grill is an indicator light. The other item seems like a socket of some kind and is under the seat.

My only guess is some kind of vest or jacket heater, and the thing in the grill is an indicator light that it's on....

That looks like it’s right off the battery…no fuse though. I’d run a fuse in line (like a 15A) with a 12 gauge wire as the power lead if you plan to use it for heated gear. If not, just disconnect it.

One of the two mysteries here solved: the dingus in the vent is the light sensor that controls the headlight modulator (which is only allowed to operate at night).

the other whatchamacallit looks a lot like a 12volt power supply a la a cigarette lighter...port? Plug?
