You don’t actually need a lift. If you are”comfortable” working on your knees… Once you remove the side skirts and under frame, the two bolts at the bottom front of the tank and then that PITA top nut above the fuel fill. The tank lifts up to clear that top stud, shifts back slightly, the drops down. Then all you need do is to “tilt” the scoot sideways to extract the tank. Of course you previously disconnected the fuel line from the pump and unplugged the wire harness.

IMHO having the bike up on a lift would make tilting more precarious.

I do recall an earlier post where the guy said that he laid the bike down on a pile of tires.
