I just joined today, so happy to be aboard. Last week, I was able to purchase a 2003 in red with 4800 miles on it, owned by a nice older gent who said he had some equilibrium issues, so he doesn’t feel safe being on 2 wheels any longer. I’m a long term MC rider and have been in ST-Owners.com for quite a while (I own a 1994 and 2000 Honda ST1100). I saw the scooter on Cycle Trader and the seller was close to where I live, so it all worked out!

Welcome Aboard Erdoc48,
This is a great forum with a lot of people here ready and willing to help. Also, the "Search" box at the top left is also your friend.
I own an 08 SWing that I had converted over to a trike about 4 years or so ago and have no regrets.
I'd also see what kind of maintenance he's done on the SWing. With the Year and low mileage it might need tires, oil and filter, drive belt etc. My 08 had sat under a tarp in FL for two years before I bought it. I did all the TLC I just mentioned plus a new battery.

I had a Nighthawk 750, a Pacific Coast PC800 an ST1100, an NC750X dct (among others) and now a 2006 Silverwing. I think you’ll be quite satisfied with the Silverwing. (But yes, I dearly miss my ST1100!)
