Hello all fellow Silverwing owners.
I'm Midd (John).
Bought a Silverwing 2003 (D3).
I live just near Durham City UK.
Have owned motorcycles over the last 40 years.
Presently stripping the front and rear brake calipers doing full brake service, plus new brake pistons. going to give it tlc.
Will be asking questions later.
Am reading previous posts to increase knowledge of this bike that has so much charecter. Bye for now.

Hello, John, and welcome!

I live in Seaham so not far from you.

Look out for steve_h80 on the forum; he leads excellent Rideouts over the moors, dales and Pennines (if you're into such things) and does much of his own mechanical work. Smile

Hi John and welcome to the asylum.
As Mike has already mentioned we do have the occasional (dis)organised ride out, you're welcome to join us if you like.
Usually there is three of us and we go out midweek to avoid the traffic. The rides aren't fast and total distance is about 100 miles to allow plenty of time for the essential lunch, coffee and cake stops.

Hi John and Welcome to the BEST SWing forum in the Solar System!! I've never had anyone from a different planet say otherwise so it must be true.

There's lots of info here with people ready and willing to help. The search box at the top left is your friend. If you can't find what you're looking for there just give a shout out someone will more than likely have the answer.
