| I've looked through the service manual and can't see an answer to this one. With the variator and the driven hub, the CVT parts slide sideways to vary the gearing, but is there any grease that should be applied to the boss, splines or drive/driven pulleys to lube this movement? I do know that grease/oil is verboten on the parts that contact the belt. TIA. |

| Not on the Drive Pulley boss.
There is grease internally in the Driven Pulley to lube the needle and roller bearings as well as a small amount of grease on the Driven Pullet moveable face helix. |

| I used Yamaha Polyurea grease to lube the pins and sliders in rear hub. Honda stuff seams next to impossible to find. Housing then needs a 1/8 coating of a good wheel bearing grease in there.. Pins are exposed in the hub where bearings are other grease kind of seals that up. Driven Face.
