I am now in a position to buy a Silverwing. There are a few for sale at the moment but hopefully more will appear as the weather improves. I know that there's a lot of information on here but are there any major issues I should look for? TIA

Horatio, welcome to the fold. Issues? Mileage vs mechanical records x color you like, the S'Wing is a solid machine. How mechanically inclined are you as to the condition of the bike.

As you would with any other Bike, Scooter, Car. Give it a good look over, check doc's, ask loads of questions and you should be fine, good luck in your hunt

Horatio Pugwash Welcome to the BEST SWing site on the net. Like the others have said, Look it over and check the records. The SWing is a very good machine and many have well over 80,000 plus miles on them. What ever that converts over to KM's.

Which bit of Wiltshire?

As said by everyone else the silverwing is pretty much bulletproof and the engine so understressed it should last for ever.
Serving is pretty easy too.
