I have looked and see there is lots of posts on brake pads with lots of opinion as to oe or aftermarket. I’m not looking to restart any of that.
What I’m wondering is if there is a source for organic HH rated pads? In the past I have had great luck with Galfer green HH organic pads for bikes with oe organic pads, but they have no listing for the silverwing and it seems no longer make the green galfer pads. Its my understanding our pads are organic from the factory, so I choose not to go to sinistered pads.  Does anyone know of a source for HH organic pads? I want to improve stopping without increasing wear.   Thanks ,  Dan

Any information on brake pad options would be helpful. I have seen were there are other Honda bikes that use the same pad with more listings, but they are not from reliable sources, Is it just that the oe Honda pads are the grippiest without going sintered?
Thank you
Dan

IIRC the EBC catalog had a couple of different options for Silverwing pads. It may be something which you'll have to research thru your local dealers' EBC book rather than take the parts guy's word. I think that a couple of year/model Goldwings used the same pad as Silverwings but they used two sets --one for each front rotor. You might be hard pressed to find that out without getting hold of the EBC book though.

So using that interchangeability you might be able to work backwards to find the pads you want.

Hi I find any EBC ones too loud for my liking even the std organic ones plus only 5/6K in our hilly area.

So last time I popped in Ferodo eco friction, much quieter, cheap and have a nice feel.

Also after 10K they still have 5mm on which is amazing.

Great stopping etc too. Very nice pads just out of interest.

What is wrong with Honda OEM pads? They should and do go beyond 50,000 miles.....and I do not think at this time anybody here is riding those kind of miles.
