Front brake caliper Empty
PostSubject: Front brake caliper   Front brake caliper I_icon_minitimeSat Sep 22, 2018 10:57 am

Having 38543 miles up I noticed bike was getting hard to push. On inspection front brake was not releasing. Stripping caliper down all three pistons were corroded. Local Honda dealer ordered new pistons and seals. I left caliper body with them so they could put seals and pistons in. New pistons and seals one hundred and forty three pounds, half an hours labour for fitting them forty pounds, with new EBC brake pads total was two hundred pounds. Just goes to show you should always be inspecting and checking.

Are you flushing the brake fluid every 2 years? Fresh fluid keeps the moisture out of system.
