I would not recommend the Kuryakyn LED. Mine stopped working after getting wet which I found happened to others.
I mounted above the speedometer dead center because the LEDs are bright and I could use the overhanging shelf to block the light if needed._________________ Bill - Georgetown TX 07 Silver Wing ABS Clearview w/vent, Givi E96/TB19/E52 with Admore Lighting, Alaskan Leather, Wrist Rests, 3M Solas tape, K&N air, Hyperpro spring, Grip Puppies, Airhawk, Utopia backrest, Stebel, Apexcone HIDs, StingerZ LEDs (w/Backoff WigWag), Knight Rider Sequential LED, NGK Iridium, Power Commander III, Manic Salamander, Saeng mirrors, Garmin Zumo 660, Dark-Side Sumitomo Tire |

| Ive been through two of those things on various machines, not very reliable IMHO. I then went to an LED device intended for micro-lights which seemed to fare better but I don't think that it was totally happy with my VRR system so I have nothing fitted to the SWing. |

| The Kisan meter is expensive but it has a few nice extra features too. Kisan charging and monitoring system In particular it tells you digitally both volts and amps, and integrates with their battery tender system.

| Thanks Dan but these are two expensive for my taste. Last year i bought there there Vectra Light for $ 80.00 and it lasted about 8 months. I am getting another one for Christmas but only because some one else is paying for it. I really like the way it lights up my reflective jacket when the turn light is on or the break light.I know people really see me coming or going |

| I bought and installed one of these many moons ago. For $25 it has been well worth the money. It is only weather resistant but has never failed even in the many downpours I have ridden through. Works well and wired off of switched power. I have a good amount of extras wired in and this makes voltage monitoring very easy. I wanted to monitor not only voltage but air temperature. It also has a built in alarm that sounds when air temp dips below freezing. I do not use the clock or timer side. Left side is clock/timer ----- Middle: voltage ----- Right: temperature |
