| This is my second go round .i.e., my second registration. I had been registered previously early on here but having changed my e-mail addy, and forgotten my pass word, I wasn't able to log on so I asked the admin to delete my old account so I could start over. I wish I could do the same with my life...well, maybe not . Yet again, If I had know I'd be here this long, I would have had way more fun when I was forty! As I told admin, I don't usually post a lot unless I have something worth while to contribute...worth while at least in my opinion |

| Welcome back hot shoe and give us pics of your bike again, if they are not here still. We have a couple of members here that live in AZ so maybe you can all meet up somewhere for a ride, if close enough. How did you get the nick "hot shoe"? Just curious. _________________ Ride safe, JeffR 2007 Silver Wing (30,000 miles) 2005 Majesty 400 (sold 12,500 miles) 2004 Reflex (sold 3,500 miles) Givi Windshield, top case, vista cruise, power commander, dr pulley sliders, air hawk seat pad, (J. | [img][/img]In the old days of flat track or scrambles dirt riding a rider who liked to go fast especially in the corners, was often called a hot shoe since in the corners he would usually drag his left foot on the dirt in order to prevent low siding. Even today, MX boots usually have a smooth left sole for that reason. Hence my name. Of course, nowadays it is more of a dream than a reality (sigh). - Attachments

| Welcome back Hot Shoe. Don't let John next door know that you're here or he will slam the door in your face. | Hot Shoe, Welcome back. Ken Maely built most of the "Hot Shoes" for both the Grand National Circuit and Amatures alike for a lot of years. He was inducted into the AMA Hall of Fame in 1999 which he greatly deserved. Take care...Dick |

| I will say it again.... I am going to make a trip to Arizona. May be next year now that I am spending so much money getting my scoot up and going. But I admire you for taking a stand on border control. I want to spend some money in your state. Just wish yall would get some trees or something between AZ & AR. Welcome back to your forum. |

You could divert to NE New Mexico into lower Colorado for more trees._________________ Bill - Georgetown TX 07 Silver Wing ABS Clearview w/vent, Givi E96/TB19/E52 with Admore Lighting, Alaskan Leather, Wrist Rests, 3M Solas tape, K&N air, Hyperpro spring, Grip Puppies, Airhawk, Utopia backrest, Stebel, Apexcone HIDs, StingerZ LEDs (w/Backoff WigWag), Knight Rider Sequential LED, NGK Iridium, Power Commander III, Manic Salamander, Saeng mirrors, Garmin Zumo 660, Dark-Side Sumitomo Tire |

| Gary, You've got room on your trike, take a small potted tree with you. Put it on your seat when you leave the bike and the seat will always be in the shade. _________________ I ride on two wheels cause I feel very unsafe on one wheel.Dan in Miami. The king of custom! | Once a general, always a general. Once a hot shoe, you'll always be a hot shoe. Just step out in that AZ sun about three in the afternoon. Your post may not be important in your opinion, but Ill bet you could teach us youngins a thing or two. Besides DennisB needs ideas for new gadgets to build. Hmm, could he adapt that flag holder to hold a small redwood. Welcome back. |

| Hi Yo, Speaking of redwood and Giant Sequoia trees. I use to spend time in northern Calif. What a beautiful place. It's really hard to believe the size of those trees. Sure wish I could be there right now. |
