Old Rider first Scooter

Well finally did it. Sold my motorcycle a year ago because after 50 years of motorcycle riding my clutch hand was shot. Today I found a neglected 04 Silver Wing 600D to get riding again. Need to fix a few things need to replace front fairing and seat. Well if you get down to NW Florida let me know.

Hey, Murf. No clutch hand needed on this site, except for using your rear brake. Welcome to the site. If you are looking for parts, there's always eBay. You are an old rider so you probably know what to do with a neglected bike better than myself, but if you need any help you'll find plenty here.

I'm a new Swing owner and, getting used to my first scooter although I do own an NM4 and some think it's a scooter.
One thing I do know is that this forum is jammed full if good helpful owners and if you run into a problem they will jump in to help with both feet.

Murf welcome aboard from o-HI-o. Clutch-less was my reason for a S'wing but in my case it was the feet more than anything.

Thanks for the warm welcome. It was a scooter or not ride. The Silverwing was just superior for reliability. Honda has never let me down for reliability.
I have owned Honda 50, 90CT, 175 SL, 350 2 and 4 cylinder, 750 2 and 4, Shadow 750 (3) of them, VTX 1800 and last bike VTX 1300. Ive owned BMW, Kawasaki, Harley, KZ, Triumph, BSA, Norton.
