A while ago I bought several items for my silvering from another member on here. One of them was an exhaust made by Leo Vince.
Will I be able to bolt it straight onto my 2004 scooter or do i have to change anything?
Also I have removed the small bolt that lets the baffle out but cannot shift it! Ive even tried putting a metal drift against the other end of the tube inside the exhaust and tried hammering it out but nothing moves! Is it worth taking it out will the extra noise be a PITA?

If you go to u-tube on this link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XA2p0NzTa-k you will find a clip showing a guy fitting one with advice on how he did it.
Hope this helps?

I know a lot of riders like noise, they must because some put on noisier muffs and some pull the baffles out of theirs. To me the drone becomes pretty tiresome fairly quickly, especially on a long ride. Usually to get any benefit of radically changing the back pressure on an engine one must readjust carburetors or remap the EFI. With a catalytic in the exhaust system it might not make as much difference to engine breathing but who knows for sure? Also on models with an oxygen sensor it could cause a drop in mpg if the change caused an O fault in the ECU.

I would shy away from a noisy scooter. And from engine mods that really only make more noise.

I with exdavid, a long ride with racket is stressing.
