Ride to Laverda AGM

On 12th April I had my first proper ride of the year.
I went from home in Epsom, Surrey to Blackwell nr Stratford -upon-avon , Warwickshire.
I went via the M25, M40 to Banbury then on the A422 then the A429.
The weather was dry but cold and very windy.
A round trip of about 230 miles.
Good ride and an opportunity to test out my Tucon urbano, takes a bit of getting used to having to move your legs from under the cover to put your feet down.
I still found that there was a bit of draught round my lower legs.
The bike performed perfectly cruising around the legal speed limit and a bit more at times, found that ear plugs makes the bike run even better.
I have found that after about 150 miles on a full tank I start to get nervous and find a garage.
I did get blown about a bit on the way home by a very strong wind.
The SWing has been a revelation to me after years of riding conventional motor cycles wish I had brought one ages ago.

I recently spent a few days in Rome there where thousands of scooters with many being Swings, never seen such dangerous driving in my life !

Living ib the UK I recommend a set of uk knee deflectors from your Honda dealer .I have a pair for the last 3 years and It made a big difference in the cooled whether.
