Hello from Sussex UK

Just a quick hello to all on this forum, my name is Mike, and I'm picking up a 2008 Silverwing in black from a Honda dealer on Tuesday 3rd, 8500 miles, it has a Leo vince exhaust fitted which sounds great, but will fit the other baffle to just make it a little quieter, will post pics as soon as able.
Had a 2003 model which I took around Scotland, then went onto a Pan 1300 because the Wife thought a bit of touring around Europe would be nice, but that never happened, and for various reasons gave up biking, but now have a bit more time on my hands

Mike welcome to the best Silverwing forum on the web. Congratulations on your "new" ride and thank you for your introduction.
The next paragraph is one I usually post for all new members. Although this isn't your first Silverwing and you probably already know a good bit about them you can still find a lot of good information in these links.

Quick update.
Collected the bike Tuesday as arranged, fantastic, just as I remembered, it looks great, Tomtom gps fitted and all linked to my N-Com, and the best bit was I got in my Garage just before it poured with rain Smile

I'm in Salisbury, Wilts, not all that far away.

Are you foot-loose and fancy-free? A group of maxi-riders meet for late breakfast in Alton, Hants usually on the first Wednesday of the month.

Sorry about the late reply, at the moment not sure whats going on, so much to sort out, and am not in a position to commit to anything at the present time for various reasons, but thanks for the invite, sounds like fun, if anything changes will get in touch

It's a totally casual meeting - we go if we feel like it but there's nearly always someone there.
I'll post when it's on.
We meet at the café in Alton Station car-park. It's biker-friendly and serves good food at sensible prices.
