I don't think larger mirrors will help but mirror extensions to move the existing mirrors outboard about and inch and half on each side is a major improvement. Larger mirrors will tend to vibrate more as well as add more aero drag on the scoot. Try a set of extensions, they're inexpensive and easy to install as well.

I think you want stick out farther---old CB750 mirrors can work--Dennis Kirk source at decent price.

I did the same as Old Limey did. You don't want to get them from a 400 type S or you will still need mirror extensions. But the regular 400 mirrors are the same length as the Silverwings with mirror extensions are.

I bought a set of the extenders. I don't remember what I paid exactly but less than $20 total. They made all the difference in the world. Cheapest and easiest solution to the mirror problem you can find I suspect.

After getting tired of looking at my shoulders, I tried twice to order mirror extenders from my local Honda dealer - each time they arrived with one painted black and the other side unpainted. The dealer gave me credit and I decided to order Honda Reflex mirrors which have the same mirror head as the Wing but with a longer stalk that also is further out to the side - that allowed me to see past my shoulders and have a view behind me.
