| I have been asking around and I am increasingly frustrated with the lack of knowledge from suppliers not knowing if this box will fit my Honda Silverwing 2002 600cc Scooter. Does anyone know if it will and does it come with a base plate that I can just attach without any drilling? Many thanks
Regards,
Gary |

| You'll get better help if you go HERE first and introduce yourself. It's just common courtesy to introduce yourself before asking questions. |

| First you need the rack which you can buy at Twisted Throttle. They also have the box. |

| Remember Givi has 2 types of boxes----Monokey or Monolock---make sure you get right rack OR box can be bolted directly to rear wing----take wing off there are 4 pre- made holes, just drill thru. |

| On my first Silverwing I bought the bike specific mount for $89 and a $250 Givi box. On the Swing I just bought I just mounted a $40 top box with the mounting plate that came with the box, and a three eighths aluminum plate between the mounting plate and the rear spoiler. I don't see a lot of difference between the Givi and the cheap box. Don't get me wrong the Givi is much better quality, but I'm not sure that the Givi is $299 better. After I've had the cheap box for a few thousand miles I'll know if the Givi is worth the difference. |

Why would a UK member import Givi stuff from the USA at when it's available from almost any British motorcycle or accessory dealer? |

Why would a UK member import Givi stuff from the USA and pay Import Duty and Tax when it's available from almost any British motorcycle or accessory dealer? |

| Who's arguing, a quick look on www.givi.co.uk gives the OP all the info he needs on the correct rack for the Silver Wing, and it's probably already been covered in previous topics as a quick Search on here would find. You have to drill four holes in the rear rack of the Silver Wing to mount a Givi rack and plate, again it's another topic that's probably been done to death as well, all the info is there if you look. The mounting instructions for fitting any Givi Monorack or Monokey plate and rack are available to download in PDF form from the Givi website if you make the effort to look. |
