For La Lee and GHM

La here are the numbers, first fill up, new scooter a 2011. TOP (scooter name) had .1 miles on her as I left  the dealer. I rode 2 miles for a station and filled up. over  day days and in 2 rides I put 156 miles on. I filled up with 2.65 gallons 87. This handily gave 56ish mpg.
The rides were average between 20 and 65 mph although twice I looked down and saw 70+ on the speedo. It is a slippery little mutt. Don't judge speed by comfort!
This is my 7th Honda, 2   750s, a F and a K, an ST 1100, ST 1300, Goldwing and  a VTX 18R. I loved all of them although the VTX was a bit of a camel ( a very fast camel).
I bought TOP with out every having rode her, largely because of my faith in the brand and the overwhelming support and positive commentary on this site!
I will run a few tanks through down the road but I did want to report my first and positive findings.

GHM we will have to meet up for brunch soon and maybe ride over to Fremont or meet Jeff in the Cal or Nev desert.

The heck with the destination, it's about the ride  .

I run total of 445 miles and in total of 2 fillups used 7.8 gallons and have 57mpg. I did go on the freeway for about 25 miles at 77mph (mirrors were clear). I am amazed how well this scooter runs.

Nice Grey! You are getting some miles on it now! Remember first oil change is at 600 miles!!! :-) Can help you if needed.

I kinda watch my gas consumption all the time and most of the time it lands between 40 - 50 mpg. You are doing well.

My 600 mile service (683 miles ) is tomorrow. Im not riding today or tomorrow so as to be close to Hondas recommendations. Then its BLACK RIBBON CITY!!!
