|Subject: Rigid Gas Tank Needs Replacement Thu Jun 18, 2009 7:21 am|| |
Hi all. :arrow: I recently had to have my gas tank replaced. It is supposed to be flexible, and instead was rigid. I understand from the dealership that this is quite serious, and could result in a gas explosion if you go down.
What I noticed was gas leakage when the bike went down once (I dropped it
). Anyway, this was a recall and there was no charge for the replacement.
I wanted to let everyone know, just in case.
