PostSubject: HyperPro Progressive Springs   HyperPro Progressive Springs I_icon_minitimeMon Jun 08, 2009 4:26 pm

I took my bike in last Friday for the 8,000 mile oil change and while I was there I asked the guys if they thought I should change my rear tire. I told them I had 8,000 miles on it and they were amazed, but they also said the tire was finished, kaput, done. So I ordered a Bridgestone Hoop and while I was at it I also ordered a set of HyperPro progressive springs for the front end. It should all be here in a week or so. I bought them through EPM for $139.95, which seemed like a good price. I suppose, my next mod, which will be at my next oil change, will be the Power Commander. My wife commented the other day "That bike sure is expensive to keep up". I didn't have the courage to tell her the bike is cheap, it was all the mods that cost so much...

I'm a Baaaaad boy...

Scootist,

My wife says the same thing about the cost of the SWing. But you will like your progressives since they give it more of a motorcycle feel. Your tires should last a bit longer than 8,000 miles I would think. Mine usually last about 10,000 miles. You got a good price on the springs though because I paid about $155. Tell us how you like them when you get them installed.

Maybe we should put WARNINGS around mod reviews and information.
