02 Swing stalling mid range when WOT

Lately, my 02 Swing stalls in the mid RPM range when I open the throttle fully. I just changed my Dr slider from 26gm to 24gm. I am also adding an oz of Berrymans's B12 cleaner to a gallon of gas. Can the battery be a cause? It seems to run WOT fine after about 2 miles.

How many miles on your Swing?

I have 48K miles.

Have you replace your valve shims. The owners manual says to replace them about that time.Those that had engine cut out seams to be around the 80k kl range. Most Swing owners don't put that many miles on them.It could be some other problem that others could have a fix for you. Did you re start your Swing.

It starts and runs fine. I ride it everyday. Just lately, when I give it the gas (WOT), I notice a hesitation like it is starving for fuel. I was just wondering if the change from 28gm rollers, to 26gm sliders, to the now 24gm sliders may be too much rpm for the capacity of the fuel pump, or could it be the battery. I purchased the bike 12 months ago and do not know when the battery was replaced. The feeling of hesitation happened yesterday after riding about a mile. After it hesitated twice, I could not get it to hesitate again. Did not try it today.

BY increasing the rpm there could have cause a stutter the way the valves operate on acceleration ,you might go on U tub or talk to a mechanic that might shed some light . Keep riding your wing and see where it take you.Fuel filter might need changing.

Check your spark plugs

Try using a fuel cleaner. It sounds similar to what I noticed ... I used Amsoil PI ( http://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/fuel-additives/gasoline/p-i-performance-improver-gasoline-additive ) which worked. Now I use it periodically to avoid the hesitations.

UPDATE!!
Must have been rubbish stuck in the injectors. I am not able to reproduce the problem. WOT stands for Wide Open Throttle. Thanks all for the input. I have been using carb cleaners.
