| I recently attempted installing the hyperpro springs on my front forks. It was all going well until I started to reinstall everything. I replaced the bush slide on the bottom of the inner fork, but I made the mistake of putting the bush guide in the outer fork first. Now the fork tube won't go in and the bush guide won't come out! How do I remove it without damaging the inside of the outer fork?

| Try gently heating it. The alloy expands more than the steel and it could just be enough to loosen the grip. Not really much there to work with, but something like an old flat blade screw driver and make it into a smallish slide hammer by bending the tip to form a small lip. Gentle is the key any way you go. If all else fails use a dremmel and carefully grind or cut away the steel and replace the bush with a new one.
Anyone else? |

| There is socket bolt on the bottom of the fork tube . Remove the bolt to let air pressure out ,put one of the tube in a vice with a felt pad,and twist the other out.Get a service manual ,go to page 14 13 for pics of parts assembly. |
