Differences between ABS/non wheels

Hi All,

Is there any reason that wheels from an ABS bike could not be used on a bike without ABS?

As I recall ABS wheels have the pulse ring on the wheel -AND- non-ABS wheels do not have the pulse ring on the wheel ... so there would be a difference.

ABS wheels on non-ABS Silverwing should not be a problem.

non-ABS wheels on ABS Silverwing would negatively effect the Silverwing ABS ... because the pulse monitor would not have the pulse ring on the wheel.
