Trying to Install TB19 Empty
PostSubject: Trying to Install TB19   Trying to Install TB19 I_icon_minitimeThu Jan 12, 2012 3:42 pm

I need some help.
I'm trying to install the TB19 on my silverwing. I using
jeff picture guide. I followed everything to a tee but
when I got ready to drill the two holes to secure the
backrest the holes were securing the plate the holds
my E52 Monokey trunk. Could someone tell me what
they did in this case. I know someone else has run into this
so I'll wait to read the reply

Thanks
Drew Arlington,VA

Don't you just undo the bolts securing the rack, slide the backrest into place, put the bolts back in, and tighten it up again? Neutral

I have both Givi E-52 and TB-19.

You only drill the four holes for the Givi E-52 which are premarked underneath the aluminum wing.

The Givi SR-19 is mounted first to the aluminum wing. You can lightly bolt together the two rear holes to hold in place.

I forget if the longer bolts came with the SR-19 or the TB-19. Do not use the same length bolts on front two holes ... use the longer bolts. The TB-19 sits on top of SR-19 plate further away from the aluminum wing.

If you are only installing the TB-19, you only drill the two front (close to the U portion aluminum wing) ... same holes as the SR-19.
