| I will be riding with PGR and want to to if anyone has put and where they mounted them, units to hold American and Military flags. Or, if it is even possible. If not, I will have to use small flags for troop escorts. I live in San Diego County and am a Blue Star Mother. |

| magkeep2,
First - my prayers go out for you and your warrior (child). Kim and I have two blue stars (only one in the sand box right now) and are very proud of them. Mike has pointed you to the best option for the SilverWing. I looked for a long time for a larger flag solution - it's possible, but the stresses on the bike from a flag as large as 3x5 are really high even at slow speeds.
Welcome to the forum - enjoy the ride from a fellow PGR. |

| First, I'd like to extend my gratitude to you and your warrior!
The larger flag (3x5) mounts tend to be dangerous unless your at parade speed. Anything over 25mph and your asking for trouble. Our State Captians and Police are strict about secure mounts (can't say I blame them) it is about the safety of the rider behind you!
Here is a link to the National site with pages and pages of mounts. If you decide to stick with the 6x9 size Dennis makes a fine one! |

| Just a note, the flags that come with my Silverwing flag mount are 12" x 18" and are very heavy duty flags. Sure did alot of looking around before I seatled on these flags. |

| I highly recommend Dennis' flag mounts and flags. They are of the best quality. I use them on all my PGR Missions and other parades. |

| Thanks Wayne, I have a full box of flags I tested for my flag mounts, that did not measure up. Some day someones going to find that box and it will be a big mistory to them. Maybe I should place a note in it to explane. |
