Alternator Spec's?

Does anyone know how many amps the alternator is rated for?

How many amps does a stock Swing consume?

450 Watt at 5000 rpm.

My SW Voltage is 14.8 Volt, at 5000 rpm.

Meaning a current capacity...

450 / 14.8 = 30.4 Ampere.

It matches pretty well according the main fuse of 30 Ampere.

But of course , it's not done, asking that load from the system.
80 % means 25 Ampere.

The consuming is dependable of the running items.
Example Hand warming.

I guess ...system + lights = 100...120 Watt.
Estimate about 9 Ampere.

I've seen people put huge amounts of stuff on these bikes, myself included.
Never seen anyone claim they exceeded what the charging system is capable of putting out.

My factory manual (covers 2002 -2009) says 431 watts @ 5,000 rpm.
