Hi ,
my names Shaun, 40 in June & just purchased a FJS600 Black with heated grips & ABS, I have been riding for over 20 years , but for the last few had some Italian models , X8,X9 & GP800, but now decided to go back to my No1 Bike manufacturer , I live in London, England married with 2 kids

Welcome to the Silverwing forum. It is interesting that you switched from a GP800 to a Silverwing. I would be interested in hearing your opinions concerning the GP800. Is it as comfortable as the S'wing? How much quicker is it? Does it handle more like a conventional motorcycle? What was it that made you switch back to Honda?

Welcome to the forum. I also think you will get plenty of questions about the GP800. Why not post a bit about it and why you came back to Honda. I'd be very interested.

Thanks for the replies Guys , much appreciated

I had a GP800 for 8 months until a MG car decided that bikes should not have any room on the road, but that's another story , i have a few tours coming up weather permitting over the next couple of months, & i also ride to work around 50 miles a day , so I'll do a comparison on handling,comfort & speed , in my humble opinion

smurph is a mate of adam metselaar aka the butcher more people are changing piaggios for hondas as the bulid of piaggio are getting bad plus they dont last gp 800 will kill you super fast and hard to control plus falls to bits when hit by car
